2/ Laboratory function
  • The bridges and roads construction laboratory has more than 230 square meter (including 2 areas) which has served in teaching and research activities of Transportation Construction Engineering students and Construction material students. The laboratory has been employed for many Vietnamese government and university research project. Recently, there are several ongoing research and application projects which is conducting to bridge structure inspection, highway material testing. We also cooperate in research and application with other civil engineering companies and local departments of transportation in Vietnam.

2/ Functions and tasks
  • The 50m2 geotechnical laboratory is responsible for the teaching, learning and scientific research of lecturers and students. The subjects taught in the laboratory include Soil Mechanics test, Geological practice for all civil engineering student. Every year, the laboratory welcomes many delegations to visit and conduct experiment, cooperate with companies in the country.

2/ Functions

  • The 80-square-meter surveying lab was built on the second floor of the Building G of the University of Science and Technology. Every year, there are around 600 students studying in the lab. The majors of students include Civil & Industrial Engineering, Bridge and Road Engineering, Hydraulic Construction Engineering, Architectural Engineering.
  • Aside from being used for education and training, the equipment of the lab can be used to perform various engineering measurements in research, technology transfer and other industrial activities.

2/ Laboratory function and mission Laboratory of Building Materials has usable area on 130m2 (both 2 areas), which was involved in teaching practices and experiments for students in civil and construction engineering and technology of Building Materials. Moreover, Laboratory of Building Materials has joined in many scientific research projects. It also has made many experiments, testing and research quality building materials for the local area in the Central, Highlands of Vietnam.
