On December 12-13, the preliminary and final rounds of the 18th Conference on Scientific Research for Students of the Faculty of Bridge and Road Engineering were held at the Smart Building of the University of Technology, the University of Danang.
This year’s conference attracted 13 research projects with the participation of nearly 50 students, divided into two sub-committees: the Traffic Construction Engineering subcommittee (8 projects) and the Building Materials Engineering subcommittee (5 projects).
In his opening speech, Dr. Cao Van Lam, Deputy Head of the faculty, emphasized that due to the impact of Covid, the number of research projects decreased, especially experimental projects. The projects that entered the final round were carefully selected and most of them were researched for over 1 year. The project evaluation council was also one of the top concerns of the conference. Besides faculty members, leaders of consulting, design, and construction companies in Da Nang City also participated in the evaluation.
